On the slips of paper, I write new unknown words in English on one side, and their meaning in English and all synonyms, on the other. I shuffle the slips and first draw the slips by reading the description of the word. I put the ones I know in one pile and the ones I don't know in another. I keep repeating those words I haven't learned until I master them. After that comes the hard part, I randomly choose the slips facing the side where words are written and explain their meaning in English. I have hundreds of such pieces of paper

I often hear Americans pronounce the words warrior and caramel with two syllables rather than three. Woy-yer" rather than "War-ri-or" and caramel as "Car-mel" rather than "Car-a-Mel" . I wonder why every time I hear it 🤷‍♀️

No. You're also wrong again, RaSHel, about the British word "SHIRE." I LIVED in England for 8 years1952 to 1960. The word is NOT pronounced "shEEr" -- it's pronounced as it's spelled "sh-EYE-r" (long i).

No. You're wrong, RaSHel. It's "eCHelon." For the last 70 years, I've been hearing this word pronounced with a "ch." The dictionary is WRONG.

Very nice idiom ✨ “Jump on the bandwagon “. Example: 1) your students are more fluently than me , I should jump on the bandwagon for improving my English language. Certainly I’ll jump on the bandwagon where I can find love, trust, respect, help, happiness, care , smile, otherwise I’ll come down next train station.🤭 Thank you so much. Have a wonderful weekend.
